Rate 8 is generally available to all customers. Most customers on this rate class are small commercial accounts who are able to control their maximum demands allowing them to take advantage of a demand-billed and energy-billed rate class. "A" = 3.0 * (peak kW demand - 5 kW) * number of days in the current billing period. When peak demand is less than 5, "A" = 0.
