Description
The Residential Self Generation Rate (RGEN) shall be applicable to all qualified residential service customers who own, operate, and maintain their own eligible renewable energy generation equipment as defined by C.R. S. 40-2-124 including, but not limited to, photovoltaics, fuel cells, and micro-turbines in parallel with the City's electric system in accordance with Section 14.32.220 K.4 and 14.32.225. To qualify for the RGEN rate the customer-owned generation system shall be limited to a maximum capacity of fifty (50) kilowatts. Systems over fifty kilowatts are subject to additional requirements and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis per Section 14.32.220 and 14.32.225. Energy Charge: a. All kWh consumed, per kWh, below the average monthly kWh consumption in the previous calendar year for the customer's standard rate class:5.59 cents b. All kWh consumed, per kWh, above the average monthly kWh consumption in the previous calendar year for the customer's standard rate class: 7.55 ¢ (cents)
